Exterior Design & Engineering

The fifth hull from the popular SW102 series and the third one of the Raised Saloon version, she was designed by the trusted team at Southern Wind with Nauta Design handling the GA and interior design and Farr Yacht Design managing the naval architecture and sail plan.

The SW102 shows off the Farr pedigree with its much more aggressive bow styling and nearly upright and narrow stem which combined with CROSSBOW’s wide stern makes for both better handling and increased performance on the water, especially responsive and a pleasure to steer.

The spacious and flush outdoor deck spaces of CROSSBOW yacht allow for easy and safe movement from the helm positions to the companionways. Control of the sails is concentrated aft in the working cockpit leaving plenty of space amidships for the guest cockpit.

Her rigorous maintenance program ensures she is in top shape and with new sails, a new main engine, two new generators, and new running rigging all added as part of her 2023 refit. As well, CROSSBOW is very highly spec’d to maximise performance including a carbon fibre mast and boom, EC6+ carbon rigging, and a performance winches package.

CROSSBOW yacht was built to the highest RINA standards and is certified RINA Charter Class while registered under the Malta Commercial Yacht Code.

Amenities

CROSSBOW yacht benefits from a spacious sunbathing area with large daybeds to stretch out on. There are uninterrupted views out on deck and an awning provides optional shade when dining alfresco in the cockpit.

Interior Design

The superbly styled SW102 CROSSBOW stands out for her clean and airy interiors, using light oak panelling set off by walnut flooring and stainless-steel details and an off-white and coral-red colour scheme for the upholstery.

The raised main saloon of CROSSBOW yacht provides a large open-plan space where up to 10 guests can lounge comfortably on couches or enjoy a meal at the dining table. With the high ceilings and 270° panoramic windows natural light spills into the interior giving it a bright and welcoming look.

The interior layout is quintessential of Southern Wind with crew quarters aft, guest area including two twin cabins and one double cabin amidships and a secluded owner’s cabin forward of the mast. A spacious studio amidships flawlessly separates the main salon from the Owner’s private area.

With accommodation for eight guests, the four-suite layout allows two families to cruise comfortably and is ideal for both the owner’s private use and for charters.
