ROSINHA was specified for a serious world cruise. She has a powerful fully battened mainsail with a carbon V boom for easy handling and the genoa and staysail are on automated furling. The deck layout is very thoughtfully arranged so that she is simply managed with small crews, yet the sailing performance is excellent. Down below, she has a teak interior beautifully executed in quarter sawn teak by Oyster, and the attention to detail with shadow gap joinery can be seen throughout. She has a comprehensive electronics package from Raymarine and full communications as well as full audio visual throughout the yacht.
Her interior layout is practical and spacious with a large owners’ stateroom after which ensuite heads and separate shower, and 2 further guest cabins aft of the saloon. There is a VIP cabin and a large upper and lower berth cabin. They share an ensuite heads with shower and there is a jack and jill door to the VIP cabin in case this heads is used as an ensuite to this cabin. Forward of the large galley is an upper and lower berth crew cabin with a further double cabin to starboard either for guests or as extra crew space. Both have their own heads. This layout is magic for both family and charter use.
She has been skipper maintained from Day One. In this ownership, she has crossed the Atlantic and cruised on the East Coast of the USA before sailing to the Caribbean for some family holidays. She has never been chartered. She then sailed back across the Atlantic to Palma. All her hours and levels of usage are very low even for such a recent yacht.
She has lots of lovely modern Oyster touches like the vertical windows in the main saloon and modern styling on the superstructure.
This outstanding yacht is now being offered for sale, as her owners have decided to build a motor yacht to fit with their cruising plans for now. ROSINHA offers a great opportunity to acquire a modern Rob Humphreys’ Oyster at a very competitive price. The Oyster 72 and 725 have proved themselves to be exceptional blue water cruising yachts and ROSINHA is a very recent member of this great fleet.
