The first unit from Benetti's Motopanfilo 45M yacht model has been sold. The sale was completed in collaboration with brokerage firms Divo Yacht and Mare Port Digital, with the 45-metre yacht – which began construction under speculation in 2024, according to BOATPro – slated for delivery in 2027.
The model was first unveiled at the 2023 Monaco Yacht Show, presented as the new flagship offering from the Italian shipyard's Motopanfilo range of superyachts. The series was showcased as a "contemporary reinterpretation" of Benetti's historic Motopanfilo line, with masculine exterior lines from the boards of British studio RWD.
A highlight of the line is the first instance of Benetti's "Veranda Deck" concept, which opens the main deck saloon on three sides to create an open balcony overlooking the aft deck infinity pool.
A year after the model's unveiling, the shipyard presented the interiors, penned by Lazzarini Pickering Architetti – the same studio behind the smaller Motopanfilo 37M line. Design choices include plenty of natural materials such as wicker, rattan and bamboo in an overall airy and contemporary aesthetic. Light woods and a muted colour palette of cream, white and beige complement the yacht's "modern wide-body configuration".
“There’s something special about the first hull," broker Volga Diaugo of Divo Yacht told BOAT International. "It sets the tone for the entire series. We’re very pleased to have guided our client through this process and to see it successfully concluded.”
Yauheniya Kuzmitch of Mare Port Digital added: “Being involved in the sale of the very first hull feels personal and we’re proud of the process and even more happy for the owner.”
According to the brokers, hull one of the Motopanfilo 45M was secured by a private owner following detailed negotiations and close coordination with the shipyard. The yacht is expected to make her debut at the Monaco Grand Prix Formula 1 in 2027.
BOATPro amounts Benetti to have 58 yachts currently on order or in build, the largest of which is an 80-metre custom project known only as Project Iron Man.
