Maiora, a brand of NEXT Yacht Group, has shared a first look on board the first unit from its new M|30 line, following her global debut at the  Cannes Yachting Festival in September.

The 30.4-metre superyacht hit the water at the yard's facilities in Viareggio, Italy, in August, marking the official inauguration of the Italian builder's M Collection, which was first unveiled to the industry in September last year. The composite model has been designed to follow the success of the Maiora 30, building upon its predecessor’s strengths with an updated exterior, enhanced guest spaces and a greater connection between interior and exterior decks.

The M|30 represents the third project from Maiora’s ongoing collaboration with Quartostile (for the exterior design) and Acube (for the interior design alongside Next Yacht Group’s Style Centre) – a trio responsible for the M|36 and the refit of the 36 Exuma.

The yacht is characterised by a "near coupé-like" profile, a full-beam bow and large glazed surfaces across her profile, the latter of which, according to the yard, play into the "lateral light signature" that defines the M line. "Rather than designing a boat, the goal was to create an onboard experience: remove the boundaries between inside and outside, use light as a design material, and design continuous pathways instead of separate spaces," explained Quartostile's design team, Franco Carone, Matteo Broglia and Andrea Sartori.

According to the designers, technical elements on board have been relocated towards the exterior to eliminate visual barriers inside, emphasised via full-height windows and uninterrupted glazing for expansive sightlines throughout. The bright main saloon (penned by the Maiora Style Office) is an example, designed as a versatile living area with custom sofas and a dining area which can be configured in several layouts depending on the occasion.

A five-cabin layout on board accommodates up to 12 guests, while crew quarters comprise three cabins for up to five crew. A full-beam owner’s suite spans forward of the main deck – conceived as a "genuine apartment at sea" measuring around 30 square metres – complete with a study area, a chaise longue, a generous dressing area and a large en suite.

On deck, highlights include walkaround passageways, an enlarged beach area and a cockpit designed as an expansive waterfront lounge. The upper deck has been curated as a "continuous, fully habitable system", with optimised circulation routes and a seamless connection between the yacht's living spaces - even within the raised wheelhouse, which is complemented by a comfortable lounge area.

Giorgio Mattei, deputy chairman of Next Yacht Group, commented: “With Maiora M|30, we are not simply introducing a new yacht, but giving tangible form to a broader reflection on the meaning of contemporary luxury - understood as the ability to enhance the quality of time, conviviality and authenticity. Maiora M|30 embodies this vision in an exemplary way: it is not a yacht designed to impress, but to be lived in."

At the time of the yacht's launch in August, the yard highlighted that the model had already achieved commercial success, with four new units sold ahead of the first's public debut.

The unveiling follows Maiora's announcement at this year's Cannes show, where it presented two new models in its superyacht portfolio, including a new flagship offering in its M collection, the 53-metre M|53, and a new 50-metre steel and aluminium model designed in collaboration with fashion house Elie Saab.
