Italian yard Sanlorenzo has launched the first unit of its new 25.5-metre Heritage model, SHE, from its Ameglia facility ahead of her world premiere at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, scheduled to take place from 8-13 September.

First unveiled as a concept in 2025, the model marks the debut of Sanlorenzo's new Heritage line, reinterpreting the styling of 1960s Italian yachts through contemporary engineering and design. The first five units have already been sold ahead of the yacht's official debut, according to the shipyard.

Designed by Zuccon International Project and Lissoni & Partners, SHE is intended as a more understated expression of luxury, prioritising proportion, balance and longevity over trends. Continuous connections between interior and exterior spaces, carefully considered volumes and an emphasis on onboard living define the model's design.

Accommodation is arranged across a full-beam owner's cabin, a VIP cabin and a guest cabin, all en suite. Living spaces span three levels, including a mezzanine connecting the main and lower decks, while the main saloon benefits from full-height glazing and direct access to the cockpit. A dedicated lounge, bar and helm station occupy the aft section, with the mezzanine housing the dining area alongside a fully equipped galley and crew accommodation.

Exterior spaces include a foredeck relaxation area with a solarium and a flexible sundeck featuring Sanlorenzo's Smart Island furniture system. At anchor, the stern transforms into a sea-level terrace, expanding the usable outdoor living space.

SHE's hull uses bio-based resins and was executed via sandwich lamination for reduced weight

On the technical side, SHE is the first Sanlorenzo model to integrate Volvo Penta's IPS Hybrid propulsion system, combining electric and diesel power. The hybrid setup is paired with a bespoke 3.9-metre carbon-fibre tender equipped with electric propulsion, reflecting the builder's broader focus on low-impact technologies.

The launch also represents another step in Sanlorenzo's "Tomorrow's Timeless" philosophy, which combines traditional yacht design with contemporary technology and craftsmanship.

"Innovation rooted in respect for tradition, SHE demonstrates how the most enduring ideas continue to inspire when reinterpreted with a clear and conscious intent," said Sanlorenzo executive chairman Massimo Perotti.

He added: "Echoing the elegance and balance of the classic navetta through contemporary design and cutting-edge technologies, SHE embodies our belief that true luxury is not measured by trends, but by its ability to endure and remain relevant over time. This is the essence of Sanlorenzo."

Following her debut, the first unit will join the shipyard's official range, which spans models from 24 to 74 metres. According to BOATPro, Sanlorenzo currently has 60 yachts under development, including the second from its flagship 74Steel line, Virtuosity.
