The new space is located in Nice and will serve as H2’s Mediterranean hub, bringing the studio closer to many of its clients and shipyard partners. It will be led by Gianluca Sist, H2’s Design director, and is intended to support the creative output of the London headquarters while enabling more seamless collaboration across Europe.

“This expansion marks a strategic step forward in strengthening our presence within the Mediterranean yachting community, while enhancing our proximity and service to esteemed clients and partners throughout the region,” said H2 founder Jonny Horsfield.

Founded in 1994, H2 Yacht Design is based in Putney, London and has built a reputation for versatile, high-impact design – working across both new-build and refit projects with many of the world’s top shipyards. The studio is known for its bespoke approach, avoiding a defined house style in favour of tailored solutions that balance aesthetics, function and longevity.

The opening of the Nice studio comes at a busy time for H2, with at least four superyachts scheduled for delivery in 2025, as well as the interior of the world’s largest yacht, the 194.9-metre expedition vessel REV Ocean. The expansion is described by the company as a “bold reaffirmation” of its commitment to design excellence and its international client base.
