With La Spezia located in the heart of Italy’s yacht building and refit hub, The Hill Robinson Group has had a presence in the area since 2019. Replacing the former premises in Porto Lotti, the space will act as a regional information point as well as house the company's brokerage arm, Moravia Yachting.
The decision to move was a strategic one, with senior project manager and general manager of Italian operations, Pino Di Mora, commenting the move will strengthen their visibility in the region. “Thanks to the port's location and modern infrastructure, we are now even better positioned to promote our services to local and international clients, including project management for refits and new construction, surveys, and crew placement," he says.
Alessandro Menozzi, founder and owner of Porto Mirabello, adds: “I am proud and honoured to host such a prestigious company like Hill Robinson here in Porto Mirabello. The customised support and dedicated facilities are the core of our business, and this important partnership with Hill Robinson allows us to improve our top-level services even more.”
Hill Robinson offers specialised yacht management, project management for new builds and refit, charter management, corporate services, crew placement, payroll and recruitment, plus a host of other services from VSAT to aviation. Moravia Yachting specialises in the sale, purchase and charter of superyachts.
Porto Mirabello marina is located on an artificial peninsula built entirely on the sea, is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and offers 407 berths, 100 of which are for superyachts up to 140m (459 ft).
