The development marks the group’s first permanent service presence in the South of France and complements its existing 100-metre-capacity, full-facility shipyard in Malta. According to the yard, the aim is to provide a seamless technical and refit support network for yachts cruising between the central and western Mediterranean.

"We are bridging two of Europe’s most strategic yachting hubs,” said Pierre Balzan, founder and chairman of Melita Marine Group. "Expanding along the Côte d’Azur allows us to serve clients wherever they are, with our own teams and standards."

Melita Marine Group also confirmed that it is strengthening its role as an MTU Partner Distributor, with expanded technical and spare-parts workshops in Malta, Greece and Cyprus to support its wider service area.

The announcement was made during a gathering at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, hosted jointly with AG Advisory, which used the occasion to mark the completion of the first phase of its establishment as a licensed advisory provider in Malta. The firm now offers financial, corporate and compliance services to clients in the maritime and private sectors.

Both companies indicated further growth plans heading into 2026, with Melita Marine Group focusing on Mediterranean-wide technical coverage and AG Advisory targeting client-driven expansion from its newly established base.
