Why charter Mar
At 107 metres, Mar is not only one of the largest yachts ever delivered by Benetti (behind 108-metre I.j.e.), but also one of the most striking. Large rectangular windows, a plumb bow and well-balanced proportion with large decks define her profile. With a gross tonnage of 3,900 GT, there is a huge amount of space for families, friends, corporate and celebratory charters.
But the yacht’s standout feature isn’t just her size, but the attention to detail on board. Every element – from door hinges to fabrics – was approved by the owner. It was an obsession with quality and detail that makes her stand out on the charter market, combined with huge open spaces, an enormous spa and generous deck spaces.
With interiors designed by Benetti’s in-house team, Mar offers a serene atmosphere through soft neutral tones, natural materials and open-plan dimensions with nearly three-metre ceiling heights. The full-beam master cabin has dual balconies, while the seven other VIP cabins each have 65-inch OLED TVs and a large marble bathroom. There is also a piano lounge on board as well as a bridge-deck cinema. For alfresco entertaining, the sundeck includes a vast dining area with backlit onyx tables and high-end party tech.
A fleet of custom tenders and a beach club with fold-down balconies provide seamless access to the water, while every outdoor space, down to the teak ceiling finishes, echoes the same commitment to excellence seen throughout the yacht for charter.
Interior mood
Mar exudes a calm, contemporary feel, underpinned by texture and detail. In the main saloon, a soft palette of creams, taupes and warm wood tones creates an inviting and elegant atmosphere in a way that is refined yet approachable.
Clean-lined sofas are generously proportioned and accented with cushions in muted earth tones. Lighting is discreetly integrated into the ceiling and furniture, casting a warm, ambient glow that enhances the texture of the materials used, from the textured ceiling panels to the subtly patterned carpet underfoot.
The main dining area on board is in a dining saloon, which sits forward of the main saloon on the main deck. It houses a huge dining table and has large sliding doors which open up the side of the room to draw the outside in.
The beach club continues this tonal restraint but with a stronger connection to the outdoors. Natural light pours in from each side, enhancing the interplay between the pale wood decking, crisp white upholstery and the sea beyond. Textured ceiling panels add visual interest without competing with the views, while the seating is low, wide and built for comfort.
Across both areas, the mood is relaxed but refined. This is not a yacht trying to impress through extravagance; instead, it reflects a quiet confidence with its open spaces and facilities.
Best deck moments
As expected, Mar’s deck space is vast. A core feature is the eight-metre swimming pool on the sun deck forward. The pool is surrounded by sun pads and further sunbathing areas. Also on the sun deck is a shaded dining table with a backlit honey onyx base, which sits in an al fresco dining area measuring 100 square metres.
The wheelhouse deck aft also has a large dining table for up to 16 guests, a favourite breakfast spot. The flush main deck forward is also clear of any technical areas and can be used as lounge space, yoga deck, or a spot to sip cocktails before dinner. The top deck, meanwhile, is more intimate and feels like a spot for a quiet coffee or maybe cocktails.
How many guests does Mar sleep?
Mar accommodates up to 12 guests across eight vast cabins, all of which, apart from the full beam master cabin on the bridge deck, are classed as VIPs.
The full beam master has full-width sliding doors onto broad balconies that open up the space even more. The suite’s private office features a custom-made desk with Bentley armchairs and bespoke lamps decorated with tiger’s eye gemstones to complement the suite’s cream carved carpets and milk chocolate-toned ayous wood. The large bathroom forward is lined with cool-toned marble that was selected in Valencia and worked to a polish in Sicily.
Toys and wellness
For those seeking wellness and relaxation during their charter, Mar offers a cutting-edge, air-conditioned gym on the lower deck. Additionally, guests can indulge in a hammam-style spa, a massage room, and a beauty salon, ensuring all essential wellness needs are catered for on board. The spa menu has everything from aromatherapy, deep tissue massages, Indian head massages and lava shell massages.
