Premium RIB manufacturer Sacs has partnered with private members club Casa Cipriani to launch a new initiative designed to encourage the sport of sailing. Initially rolled out for members of Casa Cipriani's Milan outpost, the partnership will provide an exclusive opportunity for members to participate in sailing lessons and non-competitive rallies on Lake Maggiore, just an hour outside of Milan.
The weekend sailing days, which are organised between June and October, also include on-shore lounge hospitality and the chance to enjoy the experience of the lake in one of Sacs Tecnorib's Strider 11 motor tenders.
"It's a great way to get more people involved in boating," explained Sacs marketing officer Nicola Antonelli, "and for people to try something different in a comfortable setting. Also because we have the Strider, it's not just about sailing, it's also about the joy of being on the water and the freedom to explore the lake".
The Casa Cipriani fleet includes four Sailboats RS21 and the Strider 11. The initiative was spearheaded by the club to reflect Casa Cipriani's long-standing connection to the sea, with clients of all abilities invited to improve their sailing skills.
As of a 2021 merger, Sacs includes three brands: Sacs, Rebel and Pirelli. Later in 2024, the manufacturer will open a new plant in Northern Italy, taking production up to 18,000 square metres.
