Conrad

Luxury yacht builder Conrad Shipyard in Gdansk, Poland, manufactures sailing and motor yachts ranging from 15 to 60 metres in length, built in aluminium and steel. The shipyard also offers a range of refit services.

History of Conrad

In 1989, Marine Projects Ltd. established one of the first private shipyards in Poland, a forerunner to Conrad Shipyard. The yard constructed hulls, superstructures and complete luxury yachts up to 100 metres in length. In 1999, Marine Projects Ltd. bought a shipyard in Gdansk named Conrad Shipyard after the famous Polish writer Joseph Conrad Korzeniowski. The Conrad Joint Stock Company was formed in 2003, and began building yachts under the Conrad brand.

Notable Conrad yachts

In 2002, Marine Projects Ltd. built a 27m motor yacht designed by noted naval architect Bill Dixon. In 2005, Conrad launched the 27m tri-deck yacht Escape S.Today, the shipyard also offers the Conrad 66, a 20m luxury sailing yacht, and the 18m Classic 58 motor yacht.
