The 40-metre Sunseeker motor yacht Captain Morgan III has been sold after only three months on the market. Ben Ritchie of Y.CO represented the seller and Alex Head of International Yacht Brokerage Monaco introduced the buyer.
Built in the United Kingdom and delivered in 2020 by the British yard, the yacht benefits from a contemporary design evolution; she has been the subject of a transformative refit and continues to be presented in "immaculate" condition. Her exteriors and naval architecture are the work of Sunseeker, while her timeless interiors are owed to a collaboration between the yard's in-house teams and design studio Candy & Candy.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across five en suite cabins. This includes a full-beam master cabin located on the main deck, as well as two doubles and two twin beds on the lower deck. Meanwhile, there are further quarters for up to eight crew members.
A large main deck saloon features expansive windows offering plenty of natural light over a flexible lounging and dining arrangement. The soft cream furnishings provide ample space for guests to relax.
Moving forward, there is a formal dining space, characterised by a polished dark wood table, seating up to 10 guests. Through glass double doors, guests can head outside to the main aft deck for relaxed dining in the al fresco dining area, shaded by the deck above.
Above, the upper deck offers a large outdoor living space with another al fresco dining option, seating eight guests. This area benefits from a light wood interior and panoramic views. Behind, a relaxed lounging area with optional shading overlooks the stern.
This deck also benefits from an upper deck interior saloon with a marble-top bar and drinks cabinet. Forward, there are sunpads and a built-in bench and coffee table nestled into the bow, offering uninterrupted views ahead.
Crowning the yacht, a further sunbathing area, partly covered and partly exposed, offers all-weather access on the sundeck. She also has another shaded al fresco dining option with a built-in sofa and deck chairs, though her standout feature is the circular spa pool, which is flanked by sunpads.
The yacht can reach a maximum speed of 24 knots and boasts a maximum range of 1,500 nautical miles when navigating at cruising speed.
Captain Morgan III was last asking €13,500,000.
