The 42.8-metre motor yacht Ira is newly listed for sale with Will Bagshaw of Edmiston.
Built of steel and aluminium, the yacht was delivered in 2009 by Italian builder Baglietto, who also completed the naval architecture, with both an exterior and interior design from Francesco Paszkowski. From 2018 to 2020, Ira underwent an extensive refit, which included a full repaint and overhaul of the yacht's decks, technical areas and indoor and outdoor spaces.
Ira can accommodate up to 12 guests across five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite on the main deck, two double cabins, and two twins – each with an additional Pullman berth. There are also quarters for a crew of up to 11.
According to the broker, Ira's main saloon, which also doubles as a cinema room, incorporates "clean, crisp creams accented with coppers and golds, and a separate formal dining area beneath a statement skylight," with the latter space leading forward to a grand staircase connecting the decks.
Above, the skylounge with sit-up bar leads out onto the upper deck aft, making for a good entertainment space. The remodelled sundeck features another bar, a barbecue and ample lounging and dining space, while the large swimming platform connects to a Finnish sauna at sea level.
Twin 2,367hp Caterpillar engines give the 419GT yacht for sale a top speed of 17 knots, a cruising speed of 12 knots and a range of 4,500 nautical miles. Meanwhile, a TRAC electric stabiliser system ensures a comfortable ride.
Lying in Barcelona, Spain, Ira is asking €9,000,000 with VAT paid.
