The 58.2 metre superyacht Petara has been listed for sale for the first time since its launch with Tim Vickers at Burgess.
Petara was built to Lloyd's Class by Turkish shipyard Proteksan Turquoise in 2005 and has had only one owner since new. Never chartered and used only lightly, she joins the market in excellent condition with low engine hours.
Petara was built in steel with an aluminium superstructure to a design by Tanju Kalaycioglu with a bright interior by Federico Studio Celeste Dell' Anna. Her decor calls upon classical styling with plenty of wood and white leather finishes. Pops of blue give life to the main saloon with gold hardware peppered throughout the interiors on this yacht for sale.
The main saloon benefits from panoramic views through large picture windows and has a lounge area to port and a TV diagonally positioned starboard aft. Stairs from the main saloon lead up to the upper lobby, aft of which is the sky lounge with an L-shaped sofa to port, armchairs to starboard and a gaming table port aft.
She boasts generous exterior spaces including a large sun deck with versatile space aft for sun lounging, exercising or entertaining on a grand scale. On the main deck forward there is a crescent of banquette seating with cocktail tables and beneath the hardtop, there is a raised jacuzzi and lounge seating. On the foredeck, there is also stowage for a tender launched by a deck crane.
Petara can accommodate up to 12 guests across six cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite, which is positioned forward on the main deck and has a private office, walk-in wardrobe and his-and-hers en suites. The remaining guest accommodation encompasses a large VIP cabin on the main deck, three double cabins and one twin.
Twin 2,700hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles. She also features Quantum zero speed stabilisers ensure comfort on board.
Lying in Genoa, Italy, Petara is asking €19,500,000 with VAT paid.
