11 November 2019 • Written by Malcolm Maclean

The 61 metre motor yacht Adamas II, listed for sale by Adam-Michael Papadakis at Camper & Nicholsons International, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Dimitri Kalasatis at Flagship Yachts.

Built in steel and aluminium by Singapore yard Dauphin Engineering to a design by Kenton Marine, Adamas II was delivered in 1987 and most recently refitted in 2017 when she was extended from her original length of 54 metres. Ample accommodation is for 18 guests in nine cabins laid out as a master suite, two VIP suites, two doubles and four twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, Phillips television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep up to 16 members of staff.

Adamas II was asking €9,950,000

On the main deck can be found a large saloon complete with a wet bar and comfortable seating, all illuminated with natural daylight streaming in through large windows and providing magnificent panoramic views. The full beam sun deck offers a large, highly enjoyable area for relaxing, with a table and chairs that can accommodate up to 10 people for informal al fresco dining. On the foredeck, there are sun loungers and a Jacuzzi spa tub.

Twin 2,094hp MTU diesel engines allow a cruising speed of 13 knots topping out at 18 knots and a range of 6,200 nautical miles at 10 knots. For added cruising comfort, she is fitted with Trac zero speed stabilisers.

Adamas II was asking €9,950,000 with VAT paid.
