The 24.38 metre Alaskan motor yacht Blue Moon, listed for sale by Bob Cury and George Bittles at RJC Yacht Sales, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Iain Lawrie of Merle Wood & Associates.

Built in GRP by US yard Alaskan, she was delivered in 2004 as a raised pilothouse model and refitted in 2019 when she received a complete new Flagship Blue hull paint job and Eggshell exterior superstructure. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and two twins. The master and VIP suites come with television screens while all cabins have en suite bathroom facilities.

Blue Moon was asking $2,495,000

The main saloon has a satin cherry wood interior throughout and offers an L-shaped settee to port facing an entertainment centre including a 46-inch television screen.

Up on the flybridge are twin helm seats, a five-person hot tub, bar, barbecue grill and an extra-large electrical Bimini top for maximum protection. Powered by twin Caterpillar C-18 diesel engines she has a comfortable cruising speed of 14 knots topping out at 20 knots.
