News just in from Mark Elliott at International Yacht Collection of a second $200,000 price reduction in six weeks on the 39.6m motor yacht Tranquility.

Previously named Sacajawea, she was built by Hatteras to a Jack Hargrave design and delivered in 1995.

Tranquility underwent a massive transformation in 2006/2007, with her owner sparing no expense in updating and upgrading this well known vessel. He hired the award winning design team of Claudette Bonville & Associates to create a new interior which features warm earth tones throughout. At the same time her mechanical, plumbing and air conditioning systems were upgraded and engines rebuilt.

Accommodation is for 10 guests in a master suite, three double staterooms and a twin cabin while twin 2400hp Detroit Diesel engines give her a range of 2,100 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Located in Fort Lauderdale, Tranquility is now asking $5.5 million.
