Italian shipyard Baglietto has announced the sale of its third 40m DOM133 superyacht, with Flavio Dominici of Dome Yachts representing the buyer.

It comes after the yard announced the sale of the second hull in March this year. The yard has now begun construction on-spec on the fifth hull from the DOM line, which will include hybrid propulsion and is due for delivery in 2024.

Currently under construction, the third DOM 133 hull is due for delivery in 2023 and features “contemporary and attractive lines” penned by Stefano Vafiadis.

Key features include a shallow 2.1m draft, aluminium hull and 8.7m beam, which provides a spacious interior living area.

The main deck features a saloon flooded with natural light thanks to full-height windows and a panoramic glass staircase. A beach club split over two levels, complete with a flush pool, sits aft. Power comes from two Caterpillar C32 engines for a top speed of 17 knots.

Baglietto chief commercial officer Fabio Ermetto said the Domus line combines “automotive” inspired exterior lines with “the comfort and warmth of a ‘home away from home’”.
