by Malcolm Maclean
The 26.75 classic canoe stern motor yacht Sissi, listed for sale by Jeroen van der Vliet at Van der Vliet Quality Yachts, has been sold in a direct deal.
Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt and delivered in 1963, Sissi had a massive refit in 2010/2011 with a complete reconfiguration of her VIP suite, renewed galley and crew area, new generators, a hydraulic gangway, new air conditioning, a hull repaint and all new navigation electronics.
Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins. The master suite has a king size bed as does the new VIP stateroom while a double cabin has a queen size bed and there is also a twin cabin. All cabins have full en suite bathroom facilities.
The main saloon and dining area are open plan and have a teak interior in excellent condition. She has a spacious living area and a recessed flatscreen television on the starboard side, which allows for relaxed viewing. Most of the furniture here is loose and was replaced during the refit, when the overheads were also redone and new recessed lighting was installed.
Major outdoor features of this yacht include al fresco dining areas on the spacious foredeck and cockpit and her huge flybridge, making her ideal for entertaining. Her top speed is 13.5 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 1,200 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 550hp General Motors 12V71A diesel engines.
Sissi was asking €1,175,000.
