A €3,000,000 price reduction has been made on the 55-metre motor yacht Sea Huntress, listed for sale by Alex Lees-Buckley and Gaston Lees-Buckley at Camper & Nicholsons. She is available for viewings at anchor during this year's Monaco Yacht Show.
Delivered in 1997, Sea Huntress was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship, with exterior styling and interior design by Terence Disdale. A 2020 refit saw her totally overhauled and repainted from top to bottom with extensive areas of new teak decking and a complete refurbishment of her interior decor. Most recent works involved the installation of an enlarged helipad with a three-tonne capacity and full refuelling station.
Accommodation is for up to 14 guests in six cabins. The full-beam master suite is on the main deck and has extra large windows, plus a private study that doubles as an observation lounge with a forward-facing chaise lounge. Four generous twin cabins are located aft on the lower deck, two having Pullman berths. A fifth twin is forward and is said by the brokers to be ideal for children or staff, such as a helicopter pilot, or even to be used as a gym. There are quarters for a crew of 14.
Sea Huntress has found great success on the charter market thanks to a voluminous interior and extensive deck areas. One special feature is a dry heat sauna on the sundeck.
The full-beam main saloon is ideal for relaxation, with comfortable furniture, a full bar and even a baby grand piano, while the main aft deck has a circular seating arrangement to accommodate al fresco entertaining and dining. The brokers pointed out that it is probably the largest saloon on a yacht of this size and its oversized windows, extending the full length, give spectacular views.
"Without question, Sea Huntress is the very best Feadship of her type and age available today," said the broker, who also noted that she is being offered at a "fraction of her replacement cost".
Up on the sundeck, there is ample space for outdoor activity, with a Jacuzzi completely surrounded by sunpads. Twin 1,270hp Caterpillar 3512 DITA diesel engines give the 822GT yacht for sale a range of over 5,000 nautical miles at her cruising speed of 12 knots. Maximum speed is 15 knots.
Sea Huntress is now asking €23,750,000 with VAT paid. She is available for viewings at anchor during the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.
