Fraser Yachts sells superyacht Southern Cross III

News just in of the second sale of the day - this one being Fraser Yachts Richard Earp's central listing, the 55.17m motor yacht Southern Cross III, with Vassilis Fotilas of Fraser Yachts Monaco introducing the buyer.

Built by Japan's Nishi Zosen yard in 1986 to a design by Sterling Yachts and Jon Bannenberg Southern Cross III is one of the best known and easily recognised superyachts in the world.

Refitted in 2008, she's ABS classed and has a grand interior that was designed to impress, accommodating up to 15 guests in a master, four spacious double suites and two additional guest cabins. Her two 3516B Caterpillar diesel engines give her a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.

The final asking price for Southern Cross III was €8.95 million.
