Gilman Yachts and Generation Marine sell superyacht RR Ranch

23 May 2011 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Jeff Stanley at Gilman Yachts tells me he sold the 27.7m motor yacht RR Ranch yesterday, with Bob Crow at Generation Marine representing the seller.

Jeff says she’s a 1983 Broward originally built at her present length and not stretched like so many of her sisterships.  RR Ranch has joinery in satin teak with three suites including a his and her master head arrangement. In a nice departure from her peers she has a formal dining saloon rather than the usual Broward country kitchen. One of her best attributes was a major refit in 2003 where the main engines were replaced with detuned 3412 Caterpillars producing only 764 HP instead of 1400 HP.

Asking $670,000, RR Ranch will be renamed Tres Hermanos VI and will divide her time between Miami and Cozumel in Mexico.
