The 44.4-metre Heesen motor yacht Kijo has been sold in an in-house deal with G-Yachts representing both the buyer and the seller. The transaction was led by CEO and founder, Gaspard Milazzo, alongside yacht broker David Rottiers. Thanks were also given to the yacht's manager, Nick Sevier, who assisted in the deal.
Kijo was delivered in 2003 from the Dutch shipyard, constructed in aluminium to an in-house design in collaboration with renowned designer Terence Disdale, who also penned her interiors. The RINA-classed Heesen build completed several significant upgrades in 2023, with works including the rebuild of her engines to zero-hour status, the rebuild of her generators and the completion of her 20-year class survey.
Kijo sleeps twelve guests in five cabins. A full-beam master stateroom has a separate office and a large his and hers bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. She has two additional doubles and two twin cabins, all with ensuite shower rooms, while further accommodation is for a complement of eight crew.
On the main deck, a curved bar, lounge and dining room are all arranged in an open-plan configuration with an entertainment centre to starboard.
On the top deck is a Jacuzzi with a sunpad for relaxing in privacy and enjoying panoramic views. Closer to the water, the main aft deck provides a seating space where guests can shelter from the sun, out of the headwind, for al fresco meals underway or at anchor.
Meanwhile, the swim platform – reached via twin staircases – provides a base for launching toys from the garage and enjoying water sports activities.
Kijo's semi-displacement hull, finished in a handsome navy blue, cruises at 17 knots with a 25-knot top speed. At 12 knots, her twin MTU engines offer a range of 2,100 nautical miles.
Kijo was last asking €8,000,000.
