The 55-metre Heesen motor yacht Laurentia has been listed for sale in a new joint central agency between Antonio de Yturbe Redo of Edmiston and Thom Conboy and Chris Collins of Ocean Independence.
Delivered by the Dutch yard in 2017, her fast displacement hull was built in steel by Van Oossanen, while her design was penned by Omega Architects. She was a finalist at the World Superyacht Awards in 2018 and is a commercially registered vessel with an established charter pedigree.
Laurentia's look is bright and airy, with well-proportioned and contemporary interiors designed by Radyca. There is a focus on light with sliding glass doors and floor-to-ceiling windows that create a seamless indoor-outdoor connection, while a wall of mirrors gives the illusion of a larger space.
The main saloon includes ample soft furnishings, a flat-screen TV and a formal dining area for eight. Meanwhile, the indoor bar and additional plush seating located in the skylounge are ideal for casual gatherings.
Accommodation on board is for up to 12 guests across six cabins. The full-beam owner's suite is positioned forward on the main deck with a private office, a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom. Enhanced sound insulation offers more privacy and comfort to the occupants.
Further accommodation is located on the lower deck, comprising a full-beam VIP suite, two double cabins and two twins with additional Pullman berths.
Aft on the main deck, guests can enjoy a U-shaped lounge for sunbathing and entertainment. As the sun sets, this space transforms into an open-air cinema, featuring a large retractable screen. The bridge deck flows naturally on from the skylounge and offers shaded al fresco dining.
Up a level, the sundeck serves as the social heart of the yacht and boasts a hot tub flanked by forward-facing sunpads, a sit-up bar and another dining area. Finally, her air-conditioned beach club hosts lounge seating, exercise equipment for waterside workouts and an extensive range of water toys.
The yacht for sale is powered by twin MTU diesel engines and reaches a top speed of 16 knots. Cruising at 13 knots, she offers a range of 4,500 nautical miles, while zero-speed stabilisers ensure comfort both underway and at anchor.
Currently lying in Palm Beach, FL, USA, Laurentia is asking €45,000,000.
