The 40.6-metre motor yacht M.J. Taknm has joined the market for the first time since her 2005 delivery in a new listing with Antoine X. Larricq of Fraser.
Delivered by Italian shipyard ISA Yachts, M.J. Taknm was constructed in GRP to a sporty in-house design from the yard with "sophisticated" interiors by Italian designer Cristiano Gatto. She underwent a significant refit in 2023, with works including a full engine service to ensure "mechanical excellence and reliability for her next owner", according to her broker.
With a nifty interior volume of 319GT, the Gatto-designed interior offers up to 14 guests accommodation across a six-cabin layout – something uncommon for a yacht of her size. A full-beam owner’s suite is located on the main deck forward, while a VIP stateroom and four twin cabins are situated on the lower deck, in addition to three crew cabins for a crew of seven.
In terms of living spaces, a generous split-level main saloon with a formal dining area provides plenty of room for guests to socialise in comfort, thanks to multiple sofas, loose chairs and a dining table seating 10. Warm woods and golden-hued fabrics are complimented by blue soft furnishings and rich black marbles throughout her interior, creating a somewhat regal yet welcoming ambience. Large windows also help to fill each space with natural light.
Outside, her deck spaces are just as welcoming; the sundeck is notably spacious for a yacht of her build, fitted with a circular Jacuzzi, al fresco dining space, and sunpads, while the main deck aft is host to a relaxed al fresco dining table. Here, there is also easy access to the broad swim platform below, thanks to twin stairs.
The motor yacht for sale is powered by twin MTU engines paired with a KAMEWA Power Pack Jet system, which propel her to a top speed of 32 knots. She cruises comfortably at a 25-knot cruising speed and offers a maximum range of 1,000 nautical miles. Key specs include a beam of 7.8 metres and a 1.65-metre draft.
M.J. Taknm is asking €3,500,000, currently lying in Cannes, France.
