Luke Brown drops the price of superyacht Discovery

Ron Morgenstein at Luke Brown Yachts emails me to say there's been a hefty price cut on his listing, the 30.5m motor yacht Discovery.

Built by Norway's Romsdal yard in 1962 as a rugged North Sea trawler, Discovery had a complete $12 million four-year refit in 2000. Accommodation is for six guests in three staterooms plus a crew of three and her refit saw her equipped with the very latest mechanical and electronic systems. Lying in Coos Bay, Oregon, Discovery is now asking $3.95 million, down from $4.5 million.
