Andrew Cilla at Luke Brown Yachts tells me he sold the venerable 28m motor yacht Le Club Tarpon in July for the third time, representing both buyer and seller.
Built by Palmer Johnson in 1973, she sleeps six guests in three staterooms. Andrew says the new owner, an Australian lover of classics, was drawn to Le Club Tarpon by her lines and beautiful teak interior joinery work. After having an extensive refit on the yacht in South Florida, he plans to take her Down Under by the end of the year. Le Club Tarpon was asking $750,000.
