Major price cut on superyacht Mirage, now for sale at IYC

John Ciullo at IYC has just taken over the central agency for the sale of the legendary 40.2m motor yacht Mirage, and reduced her price by almost 25% as the owner wants her sold.

Built by Heesen in 1992, Mirage remains one of the fastest yachts in the world today - her triple MTU engines and waterjets propel her to speeds in excess of 35 knots.

She was designed by Frank Mulder, with exterior styling by the late Gerhardt Gilgenast and an interior by Art-Line. She sleeps 10 guests in a main deck master, two doubles and two twin staterooms.

She has been well maintained and upgraded regularly, and John tells me that she is in the middle of a new paint job at this very moment.

Her new asking price is $4.95 million, down from $6.4 million.
