Adrian Nicolle at Nicolle Associates tells me that his colleague, Carl Whitewood, has listed the 34.7m motor yacht Kiara for sale.
She was built and designed by Secni in France in 1968 and oozes 1960s charm plus the luxuries of any modern superyacht. Kiara underwent an eight-month refit programme in 2004, which included the upgrading of her interior and restoring her 'magic'.
Powered by twin Mercedes-Benz V12 Diesel engines, producing a top speed of 13.5 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a range of 3,100 nautical miles, she is certainly a 'go anywhere' yacht. Kiara can accommodate 10 guests in three master cabins complete with en-suite and two twin cabins with en-suites.
A true gentleman’s yacht, Kiara is lying in Cape Town, South Africa, asking €1.8 million.
