News in now from John Todd at Burger Yacht sales as he signs two motor yachts for sale, the 27.4m Broward Free Spirit and Burger’s 28m Southern Star.
Firstly, Free Spirit was originally built by Broward in 1990 for a high ranking executive with a national car rental agency. A long time boater with demanding specifications resulted in a highly unique and special Broward yacht known for several years as Moonriver.
Now offered as Free Spirit, she retains all of her original specifications with no extensions. The spacious cockpit and open aft deck are particularly suited for family cruising and water sports. Additionally, her teak joinery which is seen throughout, is some of the finest woodworking one would hope to see on a vessel of this vintage. Accommodating eight guests in three staterooms, her asking price is $1.195 million.
Built by Burger in 1984 and still owned by the same family, Southern Star has been consistently maintained by a full time crew who have never missed a scheduled cruise.
Southern Star sleeps eight guests in three staterooms and is asking $1.2 million.
