Maarten Ten Holter at Vripack tells me that construction work on the 44m motor yacht Free Spirit has recommenced and she now has an asking price.

Built by Bloemsma & Van Breemen and designed by Pieter Beeldsnijder, with naval architecture by Vripack, Free Spirit pushes the envelope in what's possible to include in a yacht under 45m.

The owner’s suite is designed for space, excellent views and total privacy, including a private terrace running round the suite, a feature usually seen on yachts of 60m and above. The spacious sundeck has several separate areas for sitting, sunbathing or generally relaxing and there’s also an enormous whirlpool tub, a BBQ area and a separate bar.

Free Spirit has five cabins, Naiad zero-speed stabilisers and a range of 3,500 nautical miles.

Previously advertised as 'price on application' Free Spirit is asking €21.5 million with delivery in 2013.
