Sanlorenzo Asia, a division of Simpson Marine, has announced the sale of brand-new models of the SL90A, the latest addition to Sanlorenzo’s Asymmetrical range, and a 36 metre SD118 hull to Asian clients, both set to be delivered into the region in 2022.
The SD118 features a new layout, a performance-driven hull and a more contemporary style of external lines penned by Zuccon International Project. Key exterior features include a forward outdoor living area split across two levels, with direct access to the owner’s cabin, and a restyled stern, which can be transformed into a swim platform of 19 square metres when the yacht is at anchor.
The yacht features a beam of 7.9 metres and has two propulsion package options. Owners can either choose a pair of MTU 10V2000M86 1380hp engines, for a top speed of 18 knots, or a pair of Caterpillar Acert C32 1622hp engines, for a top speed of 19 knots. The SD118 will have a cruising speed of 11 knots.
Also designed by Zuccon International Project, the 27.6 metre SL90 Asymmetric is another successful addition to the yard’s innovative Asymmetric range. Her asymmetrical configuration allows for a layout with the owner’s cabin and main deck saloon on the same level, a design solution normally found on larger yachts. The owner’s cabin benefits from dedicated access to the bow area, while the flybridge and the bow area are connected to each other and feature a sundeck integrated into the full-beam superstructure.
A magnificent 20 square metre master suite on the main deck forward is spread across three distinctive levels including the master bedroom, bathroom and dressing room. Powered by two MAN 2000 HP engines the SL90A will cruise fast and comfortably at 25 knots with a maximum speed of 29 knots.
