News just in from Chuck MacMahon at Northrop & Johnson that he's closed on the sale of the 24.3m motor yacht Absolutely, acting for both buyer and seller.

Built in 2005 by Trans World Boat Builder in Taiwan, she was designed by Oviatt Yacht Design as the sixth hull in the yard's Alaskan series. A large aft deck has seating for 10 guests around a granite-topped table plus a bar and fridge for al fresco entertaining while a generous saloon comes with soft chairs and settees, honey coloured satin finished cherry wood joinery and a large built in entertainment centre. Accommodation is for eight guests in four staterooms. These comprise a master suite with a settee, walk in wardrobe and vanity unit, a VIP stateroom and two twin cabins. All staterooms have en suite bathroom facilities.

Absolutely was a one-owner yacht and this was her first time on the market. Twin Caterpillar 1,075hp engines give her a cruising speed of 16 knots and they have a warranty until July 2016.

Absolutely was asking $2,349,000.
