Ocean Independence offers superyacht Merlin for sale

2 August 2011 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

Edmund Peel at Ocean Independence tells me that, now he's completed his broker apprenticeship with Michael White and Peter Thompson, he's just signed the 30.45m motorsailor Merlin for sale.

She was built by Turkey’s Mengi-Yay yard in 2010 to RINA class and accommodation is for up to nine guests in a master suite, two double staterooms and a twin cabin with Pullman berth.

Twin Caterpillar C12 engines give Merlin a cruising speed of 10 knots and she's fitted with high quality hardware throughout. Edmund says she's moving to the South of France in late August and will be available to view at next month's Cannes Show, asking €6.95 million.
