The 49.9-metre motor yacht Royale X has been sold in a deal between Peter Brown and Thibault Roi of Burgess who represented the seller, and Ed Cavendish of Northrop & Johnson who represented the buyer. This comes a few months after a price drop of €1,000,000 was announced in late 2025.
Constructed in composite GRP to ABS class by Italian yard Overmarine, Royale X was delivered in 2012 as the seventh unit from the popular Mangusta 165 series. She joined the market following a recent refit and upgrade works, and, according to her brokers, now lies in "fantastic condition and ready for immediate use".
An aerodynamic profile by Italian designer Stefano Righini is outfitted with a bright and modern interior by Valentina Balducci, characterised by bleached teak wood soles, limed oak panelling, cream furniture and soft fittings.
Accommodation is for up to nine guests in four en suite cabins, including a full-beam master suite with a private office, and there are further quarters for a crew of nine. Guests can unwind and relax in the main saloon, which features a bar, coffee table, large U-shaped sofa and dining table. Forward sits the triple-seated helm station.
Outside, the aft deck is fitted with built-in seating and a large dining table. Forward of the highly raked windscreen, there is another seating area and ample sunpads on the foredeck, where guests can enjoy the exhilaration of speed underway, or find privacy to sunbathe when moored stern-to.
According to her brokers, "the sundeck presents an additional open-air dining option as well as spacious lounging areas"; meanwhile, the flybridge "guarantees an interactive experience while taking advantage of the exciting speed and views". Unusual for a vessel of this type, she also sports a gym and a media room.
The 488GT yacht reaches a hefty top speed of 38 knots and a 27-knot cruising speed, powered by triple 4,610hp MTU waterjets, and she offers a range of 560 nautical miles. Nine Seakeeper gyrostabilisers keep her stable underway and at anchor.
Royale X was last asking €9,800,000.
