Jim Acher at bluewater tells me he's closed on his listing for sale, the 28.7 metre motor yacht Ayouchka, with Poseidon Yachting representing the buyer.
Ayouchka was built by Italian superyacht yard Benetti to a design by Stefano Righini and was delivered in 1975 as one of the yard's Delfino series. Over €2.4 million was spent on her as part of a comprehensive refit between 2007 and 2009, including new paint, decks, interior, electrics, plumbing and much more. Her engines were also rebuilt in 2013.
With a beam of six metres, she has a great internal volume designed by Carlo Galeazzi. She accommodates 10 guests in five staterooms consisting of a master suite with two double staterooms and two twins, all with full en suite bathroom facilities. Twin 547hp Detroit Diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 11 to 12 knots.
Lying in Cyprus, Ayoushka was asking €475,000.
