22 May 2020 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 32.71 metre sailing yacht Vera IV has been listed for sale by Camper & Nicholsons International.

Built in steel and aluminium by Royal Denship to a design by Tony Castro, she was delivered in 2002 and refitted in 2017. Accommodation is for up to eight guests in three cabins, with a fourth cabin made available by converting the media room. The configuration comprises a full-beam master suite and two twin cabins, all with full en suite facilities.

Vera IV is asking €1,550,000

Vera IV has an interior design by Francois Zuretti, featuring wood panelling in pear and mahogany. Carpets run throughout and furnishings are in white and pale cream.  The main saloon benefits from a great deal of natural light and, as well as the lounge space, hosts an interior dining area with an impressive circular table.

She is a pilothouse design, which gives this yacht for sale enhanced versatility and provides an additional interior space to be utilised in inclement weather. She has both interior and exterior helm positions and, aft of the pilothouse, a U-shaped bank of cushioned seating with an optional Bimini shade.

Meals can also be enjoyed on deck in the enclosed cockpit and the deck areas are generally spacious with plenty of room for sun pads. Under power, her top speed is 12 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from a 600hp Caterpillar 3406-E-DITA diesel engine.

Vera IV is asking €1,550,000.
