The 44.7-metre Sensation sailing yacht Mari-Cha III has been listed for sale with Bernard Gallay of BGYB.
Delivered in 1997 and refitted in 2010, she is a bespoke, high-performance ketch built with cutting-edge technology and a 49-metre main mast from Southern Spars.
With a carbon-composite hull and superstructure, her naval architecture was developed by Philippe Briand, while her interior was penned by John Munford.
Inspired by Edwardian style, Mari-Cha III's interiors are characterised by rich fabrics and marble finishings. The main saloon and formal dining area are spacious and encapsulated in white panelling which lends brightness to the space.
Accommodation on board is for nine guests across four cabins, including a full-beam master suite with private deck access.
Mari-Cha III is both a leisure cruiser and a racing yacht. In 1998 she broke the Atlantic crossing record, achieving 17 knots in just 14 knots of true wind.
The yacht for sale is equipped with a Kevlar tender as well as twin Northern Lights generators.
Lying in Villanova Marina, Spain, Mari-Cha III is asking €8,500,000.
