Two of the most distinct members of the Lürssen fleet, the 63m Polar Star and 78.4m TV (formerly Madsummer) have recently completed yacht refinishing projects at the Rybovich shipyard in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Both projects were executed simultaneously by the Rybovich Refinishing Team in custom climate controlled enclosures erected in the water. TV underwent a hull colour modification from the powder blue hull she once displayed as Madsummer to a custom grey colour created by Dupont that has come to be called “TV Grey.” Polar Star received comprehensive refinishing of the hull and superstructure.
Both projects required timely delivery in order to meet the hauling schedule at BAE Shipyard in Jacksonville, Fl where Polar Star and TV were dry docked for bottom paint.
