Ann Avery at Northrop and Johnson in Fort Lauderdale calls to say that she's listed Trinity's 45.7m motor yacht Vita and the same owner's 41m J Class sailing yacht Ranger for sale.

Built in 2003 to ABS class and ABS compliant, Vita cruises at 15 knots and a more stately 10-12 knots for transatlantic range, with zero speed stabilisers to level the yacht's ride. Five staterooms accommodate 12 guests including the owner whose master suite is on the main deck. The superyacht's asking price is $19.975 million.

The 41m _Ranger _was built by Danish Yacht in 2003 to Lloyds class and MCA compliant as a replica of the J class yacht which won the 1937 America's Cup. A departure from the original, the luxury yacht carries a central cockpit, doghouse and luxurious mahogany interior, boasting four staterooms aft for owner and guests, with three ensuite baths. Ranger is priced at $20 million and a bonus is that the superyacht's purchase offers the opportunity to join the elite J Class Association, soon to become 7-10 yachts strong.

Ann goes on to point out that buying both yachts would give the new owner both racing yacht and mothership as a complete package, in place and ready to go. The yachts are currently on display at the Antigua Charter Show and, if you call Ann on her mobile, she'll try to get you a sail aboard Ranger.
