News of a direct result from the Fort Lauderdale Show as Tom George at Tom George Yacht Group tells me that the 24.4m Lazzara motor yacht Cork Trick closed today, sold by his colleague Rob Wojciechowski.

The clients were walking the docks of the show looking for their first yacht and Rob took them through  the  entire show before they settled on Cork Trick as the best place to begin their yachting life. The new clients are from Charleston, SC and will be basing the boat in Ft Lauderdale in the winter and Charleston in the summer.

‘I’m very proud of Rob.’ says Tom George, ‘He did an excellent job with these clients, meeting them at the show and working very hard to find what they were looking for and meeting their  needs quickly and efficiently.’

And the boat itself? Well, she’s a Lazzara flybridge model built in 2001 and accommodating six guests in three staterooms with twin 1150hp MTU engines giving a cruising speed of 22 knots.

Cork Trick was asking $1.575 million and has now been renamed Long Aweighted.
