Update on management changes at Camper & Nicholsons

17 May 2011 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

On May 14th I reported on the changes in senior management at Camper & Nicholsons and, now the dust has settled, I ask new COO Laurent Perignon for an update:

Laurent says, "It is of course a surprise to find myself back at Camper & Nicholsons International, but I am honoured to have been appointed to this new role. I have enjoyed working on other projects within the superyachting industry, and meeting new people and with the experience gathered during the past 12 months I welcome this new and exciting challenge.

“Camper & Nicholsons is a great company, with great people. Together with the management team, our staff, our brokers, and our new Chairman Eric de Saintdo, we have many ideas to reach out to new shores. Jillian Montgomery managed to sail the company through tough times. Now our aim is to grow it further, and keep on waving the Camper & Nicholsons banner at the top of the superyacht industry.

“Our new Chairman and CEO Eric de Saintdo has a proven track record of success in all that he has undertaken, and I have no doubts that he will also lead Camper & Nicholsons to renewed success. For sure there will be changes, which I can't disclose yet, but the Camper & Nicholsons spirit of excellence will prevail throughout this period of change.”
