Ad Van der Vliet at Van der Vliet Quality Yachts calls to say that he has listed for sale the 27.45m motorsailer Giriz II.
Built by Dutch yard A.Swets to a design by Van den Akker, she was delivered in 1964 and had a major refit in 2001. The refit included total rewiring and installation of a bow thruster plus refurbished generators, electronics and air conditioning.
The veteran of 19 transatlantic crossings, Giriz II sleeps six guests in a full beam master suite and two twin cabins - all with en suite facilities. A comfortable raised main saloon has an L-shaped seating area, bar and dining for six guests.
Lying in Spain, Giriz II is asking €1.3 million and is VAT exempt.
