Boutique brokerage firm Yachting Partners International (YPI) has been acquired by Mercantile & Maritime Investments (MMI).
Previously under the ownership of the BRS Group, the acquisition by MMI is set to inject “new investment and vision” into YPI.
According to brokerage house, the move will “enable the business to continue evolving its model as it seeks to disrupt the brokerage market through a data-led personalised service”.
A spokesperson for YPI said, “This investment marks an exciting new chapter of growth for YPI. The Mercantile and Maritime Group has an extensive global network and a wealth of experience in the maritime sector and we look forward to developing the business together with them going forward.”

Mercantile & Maritime Investments is the investment division of Mercantile & Maritime Group who operate principally in the maritime sector.
