Chinese yard Heysea Yachts has launched the 10th hull in its Asteria 108 superyacht model.
The 33.1 metre yacht hit the water for the first time on May 11 and remains on track for delivery in the middle of June. The yacht will remain in Hong Kong for six months before departing for Melbourne in Australia.
The Asteria 108 is the first model in the Asteria series and features interior customisation, a GRP hull and accommodation for a total of 10 guests in five cabins. Since the model’s launch, the yard has sold one Asteria 108 every year.
A pair of Caterpillar 1900hp diesel engines provide a maximum speed of 23 knots and cruising speed of 18 knots.
The hull and superstructure of the 11th model is already completed and set to be joined together imminently. Key features include a large French window in the saloon and a “multi-functional” cabana.
The news comes after Heysea launched its first 39.16 metre Asteria 126 yacht in March this year.
