Italian style and Dutch design come together in the new Benetti Now Fast range, which was announced at the the recent Yachts Miami Beach boat show.
The Italian yard unveiled three new concepts that all feature exterior lines by Omega Architects, interior design by Enrico Gobbi at Team For Design and naval architecture courtesy of Mulder Design.
The collection is comprised of three fast displacement yachts, the 50 metre BF164, the 56 metre BF184 and the 68 metre BF224 (pictured above).
Speaking about the new range, Frank Laupman of Omega Architects explained that this pan-European partnership was inspired by the International Style of architecture that emerged in the 1930s. “I think we are developing a common language together, which makes us both stronger,” he added.
All three yachts have been designed to achieve top speeds in excess of 20 knots, while retaining a Transatlantic cruising range at 12 knots. BF164 would be built entirely from aluminium, while BF184 and BF224 would feature a steel hull and aluminium superstructure.
Benetti adds that BF224 is the most classically styled of the new range, with richly decorated surfaces, light oak woodwork and Tiffany blue accents.
Key features on this 68 metre yacht concept include a foredeck superyacht helipad and a choice between an open sundeck or a raised pilothouse. Exterior lounging spaces are numerous, with an upper deck spa pool and a large Jacuzzi on the aft deck. Tender storage has been moved to a foredeck locker, freeing up more space in the transom.
The Benetti Now Fast follows on from the Benetti Now collection, which was unveiled at last year's Monaco Yacht Show.
