Benetti has launched the sixteenth unit in its Oasis series at its shipyard in Livorno, Italy. Provisionally known as BO116, the 40.8-metre yacht was built for a Canadian owner with exterior design by RWD and interiors by Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture. She is scheduled for delivery in spring 2024.
The latest model is particularly wellness-focused, with the yacht's gym area turned into a "wellness cabin" and a large shower installed in the owner's cabin which can be converted into a Turkish bath. The owner also asked the shipyard to incorporate a customised lighting system which includes "party lights" on the sundeck complete with a DJ console. Main deck dining has been replaced with a lounge area featuring an Onice marble bar unit with backlighting.
On the technical side, the model features a Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system in line with IMO Tier III exhaust gas emissions regulations. She is also fully compliant with the relevant standards for commercial use.
Powered by twin MAN engines, BO116 has a cruising speed of 11 knots and a top speed of 17 knots.
