German shipyard Dörries Yachts and Dutch design studio Phathom Studio have unveiled a new 75-metre superyacht concept known as Alyra. The new design is exclusively for sale with Yachtzoo and can be built 42 months from contract signing, according to the shipyard.
Drawn from the Arabic word meaning "sky" or "heavenly," Alyra's design is described by the studio as being "ethereal", characterised by a tonal neutral profile, five fluid decks and bounds of panoramic glazing. Inside, the design focuses on double-height spaces and seamless deck transitions intended to blur the lines between the inside and out.

Direct access is provided to the wellness deck, gym and private exterior terrace, which lies forward of the same deck and is filtered with light from the glass-bottomed, current pool above.
A highlight of the private owner's deck, the pool stretches 5.2 metres across the owner's forward terrace and offers undisturbed views along the elongated foredeck. The private owner's deck itself remains enticing, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass and "crowned" with a skylight over the forward bedroom.
In terms of convivial living areas, aft of the main deck lies a panoramic main saloon with uninterrupted 180-degree views, several dining and lounge spaces and a bar. The centrepiece however is the nearby garden atrium which rises through a deck and a half around a fully-grown tree.
Closer to the water, a "Spa Sanctuary" offers exactly what the name suggests thanks to a flush current pool surrounded by sculpted "aqua loungers" and an aft-facing pool bar overlooking a transom hot tub. Opening balconies and retractable glass do as intended with Alyra's design and "dissolve the boundary" between the inside and out.
Data from BOATPro shows that Dörries Yachts currently has one 113.5-metre superyacht project under construction, a boundary-breaking design that is expected to hit the water later this year.
