Southampton-based Falcon Tenders has announced the successful delivery of two tenders to an 87-metre Lürssen superyacht, presumed to be Eye (ex Ace).
Measuring 10 metres, both limousine tenders are fully custom and designed to complement the yacht's new, "super contemporary" look following her refit.
Accommodation is for up to 14 guests, with interiors incorporating mahogany flooring, white caulking and mirror-polished, stainless steel details. The tender also benefits from a glass Bimini and folding windshields that wrap around the double helm.
Entry to the limousine is through bi-parting doors and a flush, tinted glass roof. Both tenders' hull, deck and mouldings are constructed from green epoxy composites for a more sustainable build.
"Thanks to the Falcon team on the creation of these two masterpieces, I’m looking forward to putting them to the test this season. From the build process through to final delivery, it has been a pleasure working with Mark and his team," said Eye's captain.
"We are delighted to be able to reveal the quality and calibre of our work at Falcon Tenders with two incredible deliveries, starting with a pair of highly unique custom tenders for a yacht of real calibre," added Mark Pascoe, founder of Falcon Tenders. "We are dedicated to designing and building the best tenders on the market, and the commission of three private craft for such prestigious yachts underlines that mission."
The tenders are capable of a maximum speed of 40 knots.
Falcon Tenders' next delivery is scheduled for April – a 9.8-metre limousine tender commissioned by the owner of Sanlorenzo's Project KD. The tender will feature "revolutionary exterior laser lighting" from Fibr8.
