Fifth 43m Pershing 140 superyacht launched with custom "brilliant white" profile

12 May 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Pershing, a brand of Ferretti Group, has announced the launch of the fifth unit from its Pershing 140 superyacht series.

The 43-metre aluminium new build entered the water at the yard's facilities in Ancona, Italy, unveiling her custom "brilliant white" paint job (the first from the series not finished in grey) and personalised onboard layout, including a revised aft beach area.

The model began with the launch of the first unit, Chorusline (now El Cazador), in 2019, as the result of a collaboration between architect Fulvio De Simoni, Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The shipyard launched the fourth unit from the line, Arina, in 2024.

The trim, sporty superyacht series became Pershing's first all-aluminium creation as well as the first to be built at the Ancona shipyard and designed with a raised main-deck helm station directly connected to the sundeck. Other signature features of the model include the two large side wings incorporated into the superstructure at the start of the side walkways.

For the fifth unit, the onboard layout has been tailored to the owner's needs, including transforming the space typically used as a garage into a social area with a fully equipped central bar. Steps lead to the cockpit above, where lies the first of two lounge areas, furnished with sofas, freestanding armchairs and a large sunpad. A second secluded area is situated a few steps further, dedicated to al fresco dining for 10 guests with glass-panelled side openings.

Heading inwards on the main deck, there is a circular dining table for up to eight, a bar on the starboard side and a lounge with sofa seating and a television. Accommodation is across a full-beam master suite on the main deck (with an L-shaped sofa and additional storage space) and four lower-deck guest cabins, all with en-suite facilities and two with additional Pullman berths.

In keeping with her white exterior, the light colour choice is echoed in the new build's interiors, which are adorned in soft, pale shades and tones of beige and white.

Aside from the aft deck, exterior living areas include on the upper deck and in the bow - the latter of which includes a lounge and sunbathing area and a Jacuzzi. The sundeck is designed as a large panoramic terrace and is equipped with a bar, sofas with pouffes and a secondary helm station with three pilot chairs.

The new build is equipped with four 2,600hp MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines, coupled with waterjet propulsion, for a top speed of 35 knots and a cruising speed of 30 knots.
